The framing in the inside is almost done

The shingles are done on the side and back

We talked to the electrician two days ago, that was scary because we needed to make sure we knew where we wanted things and make sure we got it right so we won't regret it later!

Ski day

Grand Targhee

Dad and Jacob in white out conditions. It was so foggy that they almost lost the trail.

The two expert skiers. Ready to hit the slopes!

Mom trying to keep up with the rest of the family

Dad and Natalie enjoying the powder.

Jacob and dad going up for another run

we were having dinner and suddenly Ruby appeared out of no where!, Natalie had sneaked her up to her seat while we were eating and Ruby decided she was not going to hide any longer.

Bella is so mellow compared to Ruby. She is very lovable.

Finally an update

Installing the front gable. It was -10 degrees outside!

Inside of the house, the framing will come later after they have installed the roof to keep the snow out

DIGGING THE FOUNDATION 11/03/2010

Tom, our builder, started digging the foundation today!
It was a perfect day to do it, it was very sunny and warm and there was no wind
The kids were so excited that something was finally happening
Tom let Jacob sit in the shovel and even taught him how do operate it, Jacob got to actually dig part of our foundation :)

GROUND BREAKING DAY :) 10/24/2010

We had our own "Ground Breaking" We took the kids to the lot so they could do the first "dig"... Thanks Tia Merlee for the idea!. The kids had a blast, it was very cold and very very windy but they loved it, Natalie especially loved digging, we had to literally drag her back to the car were it was warm. By the way, notice that we even had a gold shovel LOL
